Résumé : |
Drawing on liberal economic theories, we will begin by understanding why the global supply chain is constructed in this way. Then we will study the evolution of transport modes to understand the impact of the container on our current economy. We will then analyse from an economic point of view the effects of covid 19 on the supply chain. Its initial impact, and the resulting snowball effect that still exists today, even though containment has been completed for over a year. Its lasting impact and
all the issues it raises.Faced with the problems caused by this crisis, we will then propose various solutions to avoid encountering again the problems linked to international transport, the explosion of prices, and the impact on product availability. The three solutions are: relocation, new suppliers, and new means of transport. Each of the solutions will be discussed in order to highlight all the issues, ins and outs, so that each company can choose the most suitable one for its supply chain |
