Major sport events (MSE) such as the Olympic games or the FIFA World Cup represents symbols of success and an honor for the city or country that is granted the right to organize it. Since the creation of those events, countries and cities made bids to be chosen and have the chance to prove to tourists and viewers how great their country is.
Hosting such an event though represent a lot of challenges as the host country will be placed under the spotlights of the world before, during and after the event. It must be at its best in order to shine and build a good reputation for itself. |
