The industry is constantly evolving, and brands that fail to innovate risk being let behind by their competitors. This lack of innovation can be detrimental to a luxury brand's long-term success, as it risks being seen as outdated and irrelevant. One recent event that highlights the importance of innovation in the luxury industry is the collaboration between Louis Vuiton and artist Yayoi Kusama.
