Key elements of the IPO, such as the valuation of the sports entity that precedes the listing, the financial and legal structure, are also discussed in order to better understand the principles inherent in IPOs and to facilitate the overall understanding of the subject. For the sake of consistency, the two main parts of the literature review and demonstration follow the same general plan of sectoral analysis, then of the IPOs themselves and their impact on club finances.
